Description of exchange transactions
To buy e-currency
1. Enter the required information on the exchange registration page (Buy e-currency). Please make sure that the entered contact information is correct and precice. Then click the preview button to see a summary of your order prior to confirmation.
2. On the preview page you will see how much e-gold, GoldMoney or 1mdc you will receive for the amount of money you entered on the registration page. For the actual exchange we will use the exchange rate effective on the day of the transaction. Click “Confirm” to finish the registration or “Back” to change the entered information if needed.
3. After confirmation we will give you instructions for sending funds to our bank account. Don’t forget to fill the “payment details” field of your bank wire as instructed. If the payment has not been marked with “no charges for beneficiary”, we will charge you flat fee upon receival of your funds. Click here to read more about that fee.
4. No later than the next business day after receiving the wire we will make the e-gold, GoldMoney or 1mdc payment to your account and notify you about this via e-mail.
To sell e-currency
1. Enter the required information on the exchange registration page (Sell e-currency). Please make sure that the entered contact information is correct and precice. To see summary of your order please click the preview button.
2. On the preview page you will see how much e-gold, GoldMoney or 1mdc you must have on your account to fund the wire. You should also check the wire instructions and your contact information. To make changes click your browser’s “Back” button, to confirm your order click “Proceed” button.
3. a) If you are selling e-gold: at e-metal Payment Order Form fill out the required fields and click “Preview” button to advance to e-metal Payment Order – Preview page. Click “Confirm” button to make the spend. To cancel the spend click “Cancel”. After you have funded the wire you will be presented with e-metal Payment Order – Confirmation page, click “Continue” to get back to our site.
3. b) If you are selling GoldMoney: at Enter Payment Details page fill out the required fields and click “OK” button to advance to Confirm Payment Details page. Click “OK” button to make the payment. To cancel the payment click “Cancel”. After you have funded the wire you will be presented with Completed Payment Details page, click “Continue” to get back to our site.
3. c) If you are selling 1mdcGrams: at 1mdc payment page fill out the required fields and click “Irrevocable” button to make the spend. After you have funded the wire you’ll be presented with completed spend details page, click “Continue” to get back to our site.
4. We will send the wire out within 2 business days after it has been funded (usually on the same day) and notify you about it by e-mail. We appreciate if you let us know when the wire has been received.
